Since 2018, WorldStrides operates an official subsidiary in Athens, Greece, focusing on two business areas: Study Abroad Programs (higher education students from the USA, spending a semester in Athens) and Educational Travel (higher education institutions from the USA, traveling with customized group itineraries within Greece). The Position We are seeking an Athens-based Operations Manager for the planning, execution and delivery of programs. This is a permanent full-time position and reports to and works closely with the WS / ISA Athens Resident Director. The office is based in Agia Paraskevi, Athens. This is a customer-facing and hand-on role. General responsibilities of this role The work may vary based on schedule, company requirements and students´ needs. • To design, price, manage budgets, curate activities and fully organize customized group travel within Greece • To conduct audits, to be responsive and effective in communicating, proactive and diligent, and to execute and finalize all travel arrangements, in set timelines and with thoroughness • To deliver and lead some of the programs or activities, in person, with great attention to detail, enthusiasm about cross-cultural academic engagement, and ownership • To assist the Resident Director with managing the business in Greece, admin tasks, relationship building, and other business areas, as needed.
