Partnered with a prominent renewable energy company specializing in the development, construction, financing, and operation of renewable energy projects. The company’s portfolio includes wind farms, small hydroelectric plants, photovoltaic parks, and biomass energy facilities, with operations extending across Greece, the Balkans, Eastern Europe, and North America. Recently acquired by a renewable energy business based in the USE. Responsibilities: Regulatory Compliance & Permitting Expertise: Ensure adherence to Greek and EU regulations concerning offshore wind farms, including environmental, maritime, and energy laws. Manage the complex permitting process, including environmental impact assessments and construction approvals, requiring deep expertise in regulatory frameworks and the offshore wind industry. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with governmental bodies, local authorities, and regulatory agencies. A dedicated stakeholder engagement team will handle local representation and communication to secure support and authorizations. Environmental Oversight: Employ environmental specialists to oversee site investigations conducted by consultants, ensuring the project aligns with sustainability standards and minimizes ecological impact. Team Structure: Assemble a team comprising: Stakeholder engagement representatives (3 members) for liaison and local communication. Environmental specialists for managing environmental studies and consultants.
