We are looking for a Global Pharma Equipment and Technology Specialist ready to join the Global Engineering team of our Milan office ! About the Role The Global Pharma Equipment and Tech Specialist will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME), being the technical reference and support for all Pharma/Sterile manufacturing sites and projects, ensuring guidance across all related activities. Activities and Responsibilities As a key technical expert, you will: Collaborate with production sites to facilitate the industrialization of new processes and improvements to existing production lines; provide support during the start-up phase of new productions and manufacturing lines. Additionally, oversee the transfer of technology for existing productions between various sites, whether internal or external, including Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs). Provide technical support for investigations into quality defects or non-conformities linked to production or packaging issues. Work with internal and external engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and propose continuous improvement solutions to enhance the performance of Pharma/Sterile manufacturing lines. Define and standardize processes: Contribute to developing Corporate standards and ensuring documentation of key Pharma/Sterile production know-how. Partner with QA teams to address GMP-related challenges effectively. Lead and support pharmaceutical projects by collaborating during the feasibility and basic engineering phases to define technical requirements and estimate costs for equipment and facilities. Prepare specifications (URS) and oversee engineering phases, including supplier discussions and the development of FAT, SAT, IQ, and OQ documentation. Supervise equipment testing activities (FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ) to ensure timely delivery while meeting quality and performance standards. Your Background: Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology (CTF) Knowledge and experience in Pharma/Sterile manufacturing. Technical expertise in pharmaceutical machinery, technologies, production, and packaging lines. At least 5 years of experience in Pharma/Sterile manufacturing sites, engineering companies, or pharmaceutical machinery suppliers. Strong knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). Fluent English is a must, fluent Italian is a plus Your Profile: Proactive approach / problem solving Coordination attitude Communication skills Travel Monthly travel required, national and international, depending on projects.
