TMC is looking for skilled Photonics Engineers to join our multidisciplinary team. As a Photonics Engineer at TMC, you will be integral in the innovation and progression of photonic technologies. About This Vacancy Design, develop, and refine photonic devices and systems. Conduct simulations and model photonic components and systems. Work collaboratively with diverse teams to integrate photonics with electronics, mechanics, and software components. Validate and characterize photonic devices through experimental methods. Keep abreast of the latest advancements in photonics and related fields. Contribute to technical documentation, reports, and publications. Support project management and assist in writing proposals for new projects. What We Expect From You Master’s or Ph.D. in Photonics, Optics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. 3-5 years of experience in photonics principles and technologies. Experience with photonic simulation tools such as COMSOL and Lumerical. Skilled in experimental techniques for characterizing photonic devices. Familiarity with photonic device fabrication processes like lithography and etching. Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
