Sungrow Renewables is currently looking for a talented Renewable Energy Photovoltaic System Engineer with experience on renewable energy technologies to join our team in Romania. The Renewable Energy Photovoltaic System Engineer will support the delivery of multidisciplinary projects (PV/Wind/BESS) through their technical due diligence, feasibility study, design, pre-construction and/or construction phases with a specific focus on the electrical design aspects of projects. She/He will act as an Engineer who support BD (business development) manager with the technical issues, managing projects as a technical advisor and support the review of designs drawings. Whilst this role will have a particular focus on solar PV developments, however it may also include involvement in wind, storage, and hybrid projects. Key Responsibilities: Support and manage the electrical design of renewable energy projects (primarily solar PV projects) from preliminary design through IFC in accordance with the pre-defined budgets, deadlines and quality requirements. Closely work with design institutes on behalf of client interests. Support a technical team of multi-disciplined specialists to design, develop and deliver renewable energy projects with a specific focus on the electrical and civil aspects of project development. Regularly and accurately reporting the status of projects to senior engineering team and management from BD. Closely work with construction and project management team of Sungrow to support execution of projects. Ensuring health, safety and environmental considerations are integral to the delivery of projects and project tasks Add value, avoid/resolve issues, mitigate risks and manage Participation at site visits and meetings in the Romania Skills / Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering Minimum of 5 years experience in electrical engineering work (design and construction); preferably in renewable power generation Excellent communication (written and spoken) in English, with the ability to engage and interface with stakeholders; Demonstrated knowledge and application of Electrical Engineering standards, best practices and safety regulations; Excellent time management and organizational skills A flexible and proactive approach to completing work Valid driving license for use within Romania Must be a Romanian Citizen or authorized to work lawfully in Romania Show more Show less
