Plant Manager – Relocation Opportunity to Ireland Role Purpose This position offers an exciting relocation opportunity to Ireland, ideal for a Plant Manager with extensive experience in manufacturing best practices and lean principles. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of production, scheduling, logistics, safety, environment, quality, and maintenance for a timber-frame manufacturing site, while working closely with management teams in Design, Site Installation, and Capital Development. Key Responsibilities Champion a safe and efficient work environment, prioritizing health, safety, and quality standards. Collaborate with the SHEQ Manager to ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies. Develop and execute a production plan that maximizes business returns, partnering with the Design and Quality teams. Set and monitor site performance metrics, driving efficiency and improvement across operations. Lead a culture of continuous improvement, standardizing processes and promoting best practices. Manage staffing needs, recruitment, and employee engagement in coordination with HR. Establish regular production meetings to ensure seamless delivery of production goals. Foster strong relationships with Shift Managers and Supervisors to facilitate knowledge sharing. Support the capital investment and development strategy for the production site. Ensure smooth operations across planning, design, production, and installation phases. Required Skills & Experience Degree in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 5 years’ experience in Plant or Site Management, preferably in Timber-frame, Modular Building, or Off-site Manufacturing. Proven commitment to promoting safety and regulatory compliance. Demonstrated ability to streamline processes for maximum efficiency and output. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to drive high-performance standards. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across teams. Flexible, adaptable to change, and capable of handling uncertainty and risk.
