Your Responsibilities You operate, support, and optimize our group-wide API Management & Application integration environment based on Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS You support the analysis of requirements, the design, and the implementation of API Management & Application Integration solutions in the context of national and international solutions You will work in an international team with an Agile, product-centric way of working You run on-call duties within our cross-platform operations team You support the conception and technical implementation of strategic platform epics Your Qualifications Experience working in cloud-based environments especially Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS Good programming skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication & interpersonal skills A passion for technology & a thirst for knowledge High level of self-reliant and self-initiated working Skills & Experience Requirements In-depth knowledge of platform operations and cloud integration services in an enterprise environment In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS integration services In-depth knowledge of system integration using various protocols and technologies Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (e.g. terraform, crossplane) Knowledge of Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration technologies (e.g. Git, GitLab) Experience working within a DevOps/DataOps environment and experience in monitoring platforms by using e.g. Splunk, Uptrends, ELK or Nagios Knowledge of Bash-Scripting language/programming languages such as: Python, Java, bash Knowledge of networking in cloud environments such as Azure & AWS (VPN, VNET, NSG) Knowledge of configuring, running, and debugging applications Familiar with Configuration Management tools Knowledge of working with Atlassian suite (JIRA/Confluence) Experience with Agile working environments – Scrum or Kanban Strong analytical and problem-solving skills What you can expect from a Career in E.ON Software Development: We offer the unique opportunity to combine your love for technology with your passion to work on a topic of high relevance to society.
