Job Description: We are seeking a talented and creative Print Designer to join our dynamic design team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for art and fashion, and the ability to create captivating prints that enhance our collections. This role requires collaboration with the head fashion designer and the creative department to bring our visionary concepts to life. Key Responsibilities : – Design Development : Create original and innovative print designs for our collections, aligning with the brand’s aesthetic and vision. – Trend Research : Stay current with fashion trends, colors, and patterns to inspire fresh and contemporary print designs. – Collaboration : Work closely with the fashion design team to ensure prints complement and enhance garment designs. – Technical Skills : Utilize design software to create detailed print layouts and repeats, ensuring high-quality production standards. – Storytelling : Incorporate storytelling elements into print designs, creating pieces that connect emotionally with our audience. – Feedback Integration : Revise and refine designs based on feedback from creative directors and production teams. – Production Coordination : Collaborate with production teams to ensure accurate translation of prints onto fabrics during manufacturing. Qualifications : – Ideally, 5 or more years of experience in a related role. – Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Graphic Design, or related field will be considered an asset. – Proven experience as a print designer in the fashion industry. – Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of print designs and techniques. – Knowledge of design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other relevant tools. – Excellent sense of color, pattern, and fabric compatibility. – Ability to translate concepts into visually compelling print designs. – Strong communication and teamwork skills.
