What is the role about? The Job Holder is accountable for the effective and efficient provision of: Supports more senior members of the team with the effective management of assigned Master Data activities (technical and service) for the entire Borealis Group for the following Master Data objects: customers, vendors (Business Partners in HANA environment), materials, safety data sheets, for the entire Borealis Group (global responsibility); Ensures the fulfilment of all Master Data requests in quality and time; Ensures that all Master Data processes & systems are operated in accordance with Borealis Group rules; Executes defined activities in cooperation with senior colleagues for certain projects (e.g. S/4 HANA, etc.) and provides input for data analysis/reports. Responsibilities: Executes day by day Master Data maintenance and service delivery (create/change/block/mark for deletion/ assures replication for the respective Master Data) in the agreed timelines and quality; Ensures support in the design of Master Data processes, MDG improvements ideas; Involved in execution of certain tasks or responsibilities during project delivery under guidance of senior colleagues; Helps with the preparation of certain Reports especially on defined KPIs and ad hoc requests and follows up on defined actions; Prepares materials for the development of certain processes, work procedures and solutions to optimize own activity as well as on department level and gives regular input for continuous improvements; Executes smaller and/ or medium performance/ business projects and initiatives for existing Master Data Tools in close collaboration with senior colleagues and/ or line manager; Performs daily supervision for SAP interfaces regarding Master Data (MDG or SAP and other systems interfaces), and reports all incidents discovered in these interfaces; Executes mandatory checks for Master Data correctness and completeness. Requirements: Master Diploma: Finance, Business administration; Relevant professional experience: 3-5 years; Good functional knowledge about Master Data maintenance processes (ideally in chemical or oil &gas industry) and continuous optimization and efficiency improvement; Good analytical and organizational skills to perform the day by day Master Data activities, working independently as well as working in teams; High attention to detail; Advanced knowledge of SAP (ideally MDG, Finance, S/4 HANA) , SAP MM, SAP SD) and Microsoft Excel, knowledge of Microsoft Access is advantageous; Solution oriented, proactive and able to communicate ideas and concepts to various stakeholders; Very good English language skills, knowledge of other foreign languages is a plus.
