Come be a part of our success story! Job Description This is a Fixed Term Contract of 3 years for maternity cover. While this is a fixed-term position, there may be a possibility of extension depending on business needs at the time. The main purpose of the role is ensure efficient and reliable management of new large scale PV and BESS projects. Support project development team during execution of preparation phase of projects in Czechia. Project management, development, and coordination of large-scale ground-mounted solar PV and storage projects in Czechia involve analysing project constraints, securing land lease agreements, and navigating municipality/regional-level re-zoning procedures. This includes ensuring grid connection and obtaining necessary statements from authorities and licenses to achieve the Ready to Build (RTB) status for designated projects. The Main Tasks Evaluation of project feasibility, assessment of risks and legislative restrictions. Project coordination with external suppliers (topographic survey, pedological and biological surveys, design & engineering, etc.) and internal teams within ib vogt GmbH. Organizing and executing meetings with state authorities, technical infrastructure representatives, and other stakeholders participating in the PV project development stage (zoning, permitting, design & engineering). Cooperation with in-country partners, consultants, and advisors. Collaboration and support within a project development team to meet deadlines and targets. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project management or Engineering. Landscape Engineering is preferred but not required. 2-5 years of relevant industry experience. Experience in a similar position (energy, project development, permitting processes, negotiations with authorities and representatives of municipalities). Flexible, creative, entrepreneurial, go-getter, positive attitude, and can perform under pressure. Proven references in the field of energy infrastructure development and experience with large-scale land-based solar projects are a big advantage. Experience with permit processes and the process of changing zoning plans (ÚPD) is an advantage. Experience, network, and knowledge of grid network operators, relevant authorities, and municipalities in Czechia is an advantage. Self-driven and independent work talent, performing well in a team. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with well-developed interpersonal and management skills. Knowledge of legal basics and the ability lead negotiation about conditions of various type of contracts. Fluent in Czech and English, both written and spoken.
