Job description: Handle process automation and optimization projects with a focus on APC Develop new and maintain existing model-based controllers Develop and maintain soft sensors based on simple regression equations or complex AI algorithms in cooperation with data scientists Collaborate in projects Execute feasibility studies Profile description: Young professional or with professional experience Completed studies in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science and Engineering, Cybernetics, Process Control Engineering or Automation Engineering Strong process modeling skills preferably in chemical or process engineering Knowledge of classical control engineering; experience in model-based control is an advantage Affinity for numbers, mathematical problem solving, data analysis, and algorithms Independent and team-oriented way of working Good communication and integration skills Very good written and spoken English; German language skills advantageous but not required Willingness to travel regularly to Burghausen or other Wacker Chemie AG sites The initial training will take place over a period of two months at the Burghausen site; after that, the place of work is Pilsen (CZ) ​ We offer: ​ Competitive Salary (with yearly bonus of 15%) Opportunity for Future Growth and Advancement Meal allowance of 116 CZK / day Transport allowance of CZK 100 / day Flexi Pass 20 000 CZK / year Vacation allowance 10 000 / year Christmas allowance 10 000 / year 5 weeks of holiday and for every 3 years of employment plus 1 extra day of holiday plus 3 days of sick leave per year Pension insurance contribution up to 4 166 CZK / month Home office option and much more! ​ As an international company, we welcome the diversity of people.
