Charles Levick have partnered with a leading Energy Trading business, We have been commissioned to find a highly motivated Senior Intraday Trader as they continue to expand their ever growing team. Your role & responsibilities Execute intraday power trades across CWE markets by leveraging market data, price signals, and advanced trading strategies. Monitor and analyze market conditions, regulatory developments, and weather patterns to guide short-term trading decisions. Develop, enhance, and utilize proprietary models to identify and capitalize on profitable market opportunities. Optimize performance in highly volatile intraday markets while managing and mitigating risk effectively. Collaborate with the trading team to share insights, strategies, and foster continuous improvement. Prepare regular market reports to highlight trends, trading outcomes, and key performance metrics. Must Have At least 2 years of experience in proprietary intraday power trading with a proven track record of success in the CWE region. In-depth knowledge of electricity markets, including the nuances of intraday power trading and the key drivers of price fluctuations. Proficiency in trading platforms, market data tools, and advanced analytical software. A strong analytical mindset with the ability to develop and refine data-driven trading strategies. Excellent teamwork and communication skills, ensuring seamless collaboration within the trading team.
