Mane are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their client, a leading contractor in the Data Centre industry on some exciting projects. First stop being in Milan, Italy. The successful candidate will be part of the current Commercial team operating in Ireland, UK and mainland Europe. The candidate will become an important member of the business using innovative strategies while creating a unique and exciting work environment. Our Clients expertise spans industry sectors such as data centres, pharmaceuticals, renewables, power generation, critical infrastructure, and more. Responsibilities Take commercial responsibility for a major project, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Conduct measurements from plans to create detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ), including labour hours and material costs. Work closely with site teams to monitor work efficiencies, submit/estimate reports, and provide regular updates. Prepare project costings, margin analysis, and cash flow reports. Manage project scope variations effectively. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, representing the company positively to support ongoing operations. Review tender documentation, including drawings and specifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Conduct site visits as needed to assess tender requirements. Contribute to identifying opportunities for improvement, growth, and strategic development within the company. Requirements Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying. 3-5+ years of experience, depending on the position. Preferable background in electrical services. Strong commercial awareness.
