ABOUT °MEQU At °MEQU we empower healthcare professionals to combat hypothermia and save lives with our innovative °M Warmer System; a portable blood and IV fluid warmer that heats fluids to body temperature within seconds. Used by military forces, emergency medical services, rescue helicopters, and hospitals globally, our system is trusted in the most demanding environments. We achieved CE-marking in 2018 and U.S. FDA 510(k) clearance in May 2024. As we continue our growth and expand into new markets, we are committed to delivering cutting-edge, user-friendly healthcare solutions. THE POSITION As our R&D Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and optimization of the °M Warmer System and future products. You will lead a talented team of specialists, manage complex projects, and collaborate with stakeholders to bring innovative solutions to market. Your key responsibilities are to: Facilitate R&D projects, ensuring progress from design to production scale-up. Work hands-on with technical product development, spanning mechanics, electronics, plastics, materials, and software. Manage and motivate a team of internal experts, external consultants, and suppliers, including CMOs and CDOs, to achieve shared goals. Ensure compliance with ISO13485 and EU MDR 2017/745 standards. Collaborate closely with production, RA&QA, sales and marketing to align technical development with business objectives. ABOUT YOU You have a solid engineering background, proven management skills, and a passion for advancing medical technology. We expect: 10+ years of experience in medical device development, with a strong understanding of ISO13485 and EU MDR 2017/745. Hands-on expertise in multidisciplinary product development, including mechanics, electronics, and production processes. Experience scaling up R&D operations and leading teams through growth phases. A collaborative mindset and ability to manage internal and external stakeholders effectively. A track record of delivering innovative, high-quality products in regulated environments.
