The Role As a Research Associate , you will be a key member of our team, focusing on generating high-quality data by optimizing, implementing, and executing laboratory workflows using established protocols. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient, accurate, and timely processing of human tissue samples . You will operate state-of-the-art equipment, including different microscopes , to acquire whole slide images and other critical data. By continuously improving processes within our established procedures, your work will directly impact our mission to deliver actionable insights that drive the discovery of precision medicine. You Will Streamline laboratory protocols for tissue processing, sample preparation, and imaging to ensure reliable, high quality and scalable workflows Follow standardized procedures to process biological samples, primarily human tissue sections via H&E staining Operate state-of-the-art microscopes to acquire whole slide images, ensuring high-quality data acquisition Operate and maintain laboratory equipment like microtomes, automated staining platforms, and imaging systems. Implement quality control measures to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of data, including routine equipment checks and calibrations Work closely with fellow scientists and engineers to align laboratory activities with project goals, improve workflows and efficiency Organize laboratory supplies and help coordinate procurement to ensure smooth operations You Have Associate, bachelor’s or master’s degree, in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or related field, with 2+ years of lab experience, ideally in production or high-throughput settings. Skilled in tissue processing, sectioning, staining, imaging, and maintaining lab equipment (e.g., microtomes, automated staining). Knowledge of quality control, data documentation, and basic computer/data entry skills. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and protocol adherence. Proactive and reliable team member with good communication skills, adaptable to fast-paced environments A passion for precision medicine and a startup work environment Nice to Have Previous experience in a biotech or pharmaceutical production environment Familiarity with spatial proteomics techniques and concepts Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) Knowledge of regulatory compliance and documentation practices in a production setting Basic understanding of microscopy and imaging software Interested?
