A Freelance Senior Planning Engineer is required for long term contract work in Denmark, overseeing project planning and advanced scheduling across various commercial Construction projects. In this Planning Engineer role, you’ll manage multiple large-scale projects, facilitating successful project completion through effective scheduling, risk management and resource planning. EU, EEA or UK passport holders only. Key Responsibilities: Scheduling and Scope Management: Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules, ensuring full scope coverage and contingency planning. Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align project timelines and facilitate pull planning sessions. Performance Tracking: Evaluate project progress against schedules, prepare progress reports, and communicate status regularly. Stakeholder Engagement: Work with engineering, procurement, and construction management teams to optimise work sequencing and ensure schedule accuracy. Risk Management: Conduct risk analysis and recommend schedule improvements for effective project execution. Desired Experience: Senior level Project Planning / Scheduling experience within a construction environment. Proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project . Knowledge of commercial construction processes in mission critical environments ( Data Centres, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences , etc). Skilled in scheduling , resource planning and managing multiple projects . Professional verbal and written communication skills in English . Team leadership and adept at building cross-functional relationships.
