Eurowind Energy is a Danish limited liability company, which over the years has become a leading developer and operator of photovoltaic and wind turbine projects. The company over 2GW of operating assets under management in several countries across Europe and has been increasing its presence throughout the European market, including Italy. We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to deliver our project initiatives in the Italian market. This job offers you the possibility of being the go-to-person for all matters related to projects assigned to you, mainly at development stage, while working on a fast growth “startup environment” backed by a large international group. Primary responsibilities: Based in Milan, the Senior Project Manager will report to the Country Manager and focus on development of renewable energy projects (PV, Wind, BESS, H2, P2X) in Italy .Main duties and responsibilities include :Identifying, assessing and facilitating new project development opportunities for wind, solar, BESS and P2X ;Performing feasibility and risk assessment studies on project sManaging project delivery from concept, throughout the permitting phase, all the way to RTB and handover to construction: taking ownership of assigned projects, ensuring that the pillars of “land, grid and permit” are managed proactively, efficiently and effectively within the constraints of scope, budget and schedule ;Managing the budget and resources allocated to the assigned projects, with a proactive approach particularly towards schedule and risk ;Coordinating external project developers or professionals, assuring compliance with the signed agreements and deliverable sSourcing and proposing project acquisition opportunities, incl. participation in potential M&A transaction sHanding over to and supporting the Construction Dept. for assigned projects’ construction phas eSupporting development of the existing projects’ portfoli oSupporting training and development of staff/colleagues, with particular regard to permitting of renewable energy plant sPromoting growth, profitability and sustainability of Eurowind Energy in Ital yOther tasks related to the abov e The mandatory profile : Has at least seven years of experience working with development of renewable energy projects (mainly wind and/or sola r)Is fluent in Italian and English, with strong communication skills in both languag esHas verifiable experience in “greenfield” project development in Italy, spanning from land scouting to RTB phase, incl. knowing and complying with national, regional and local regulation, managing the grid connection request/acceptance process, negotiating/managing land contracts e tcHas outstanding project management skil lsHas strong analytical, interpersonal and organizational skil lsHas an ability to work in several projects in different regions at the same ti meIs prepared to travel often, mainly in Ita ly Furthermore, you could have experience/skills in:Managing the construction of utility scale wind or PV plants until commissioning ph aseBattery Storage, Hydrogen and/or P2X proje ctsWritten and oral communication in other langua ges What we off er: Employee bonus planThe salary package and conditions offered will correspond to the required qualifications and backgr oundAn international and collaborative working environment with great personal development opportuni ties Did we capture your atten tion?Great!
