Job Purpose: The SAP FICO Consultant is tasked with the development and deployment of SAP-ECC, configuring the SAP-ECC systems, supporting the (Key) User organization, and resolving reported SAP-ECC issues within the Finance domain. This role is crucial in streamlining financial processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maximizing the benefits of SAP FICO for the organization. As we’re on the doorstep of S/4 HANA implementation, you’ll also play a crucial role in this transformation process. Responsibilities: Support SAP-ECC optimization and deployment activities. Assist with financial processes related to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Asset Accounting. Handle Business Blueprint Documents and/or Function Design Documents for new functional developments based on requirements. Configure SAP based on business/functional design documents or manage third-party partners, ensuring proper documentation according to corporate guidelines. Support integration of SAP with other (non-)SAP systems within the functional domain, including through corporate middleware solutions (e.g., xSuite, HFM, BW). Collaborate closely with the Shared Service Center. This role will suit you if you have the following: Experienced in leadership within a distributed (and virtual) environment. Ability to shift between strategy and operations. Strong stakeholder management skills. Proficient in written and verbal communication (English is mandatory). Good interpersonal and collaborative skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences at various hierarchical levels. Experience with SAP-GL, SAP-AR, SAP-AP, SAP asset accounting, and SAP bank accounting is required. Experience with other SAP modules is a plus. Hard-working, committed, and flexible. Ability to remain calm and competent in high-pressure, high-stress situations. High degree of initiative, dependability, and ability to work with minimal supervision, while being resilient to change. High level of personal integrity, with the ability to handle confidential matters professionally and demonstrate appropriate judgment and maturity.
