The In-Client Architect is a key role delivering Pre and Post Sales Consultancy across all major portfolio areas covered by Getronics reporting to the Global Head of In-Client Architecture.The role will involve creating Proposals (both technical and commercial); High Level Designs; supporting Consultants in the delivery of Details Level Designs; and ensuring projects or programmes meet customer expectations and the specified design goals.Interaction with customer’s IT infrastructure managers, IT directors, architects and CIOs should be expected.Significant travel and site attendance should also be expected. What will you do? Work with client managers or directors in existing accounts to identify and lead client opportunity engagements to win and deliver projects. Lead requirements capture & solution shaping / architecting activity, including prototyping and proof of concept development as required Agree delivery costing models and underwrite project costings to ensure profitability targets achieved in pricing & delivery Build and maintain strong relationships with key 3rd party service providers & partners Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts up to and including senior IT and CXO level. Keep abreast of Getronics Portfolio offerings, emerging technologies and market opportunities that could enable business growth & differentiation Assist the project team in building on the relationships established with the client team during initial engagements Act as the technical lead for assigned project delivery, supporting Programme & Project Management teams Support risk mitigation and issue resolution activity related to both ongoing services and new projects Support client and project managers in cost reduction and profit optimisation activity Responsible for technical handover of all designed elements to Business-as-Usual teams To mentor and develop other technical resources Production of High-Level Designs and supportive review of SME generated Detailed Level Designs To occasionally support Client Management with particularly complex Major Incidents or Problem records, providing a holistic view merging information from numerous subject matter experts Which experience/skills we are looking for? General Skills and experience Previous experience in a similar customer-facing role A degree level qualification in Computer Science or similar discipline; or a relevant professional qualification (e.g. TOGAF); or equivalent business experience. A minimum of eight years consultancy experience, or relevant experience in a similar role. Extensive experience working in Project Delivery across numerous technical areas. Extensive exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies, and processing environments Exposure to integration of technical solutions Strong written and verbal Italian communication skills Written and verbal English communication skills (additional languages desirable) A good understanding of proposal generation and pricing with recent demonstrable experience Project Management or Service Management experience advantageous. Technical Skills Specific high knowledge of Cloud solutions, including: Public hosting on Azure services, including Azure Storage, Networking Services and Database services. Private hosting on VMWARE and integration with standard management solutions and establishing hybrid configurations with public cloud. Kubernetes solutions to deploy microservices Good knowledge on DevOps methodologies and solutions required to empower developers in effectively implementing these solutions. Specific knowledge on secure Application Integration and management through the implementation of API Gateways, Orchestration and Observability platforms Basic understanding of M365 Features, enabling more higher productivity and increased security baseline Basic understanding of Network technologies is required, but a deeper understanding would be advantageous.
