As a Product Application Engineer you will be working closely with some of the most important Tier 1s and OEMs, on integrating sensor products into hardware systems, providing guidance and documentation for a smooth design in process. In your new role you will: Implement hardware solutions for our magnetic current sensors, including schematic, PCB layout, production and validation Perform electrical simulations of circuits (E.g. SPICE) and magnetic simulation for buss-bar design Create documentation collaterals as product datasheets, product user manuals or application notes Be the go-to person for Field Application Engineers during the world-wide Design-In of our Sensors Extend and develop technical training material and perform trainings for worldwide FAE colleagues and key customers to support new product launches and go to market activities Support our customer in designing in our products by offering guidance on integrating our sensors Help solving problems (bug fixing, testing) and prepare documentation Work closely in a multidisciplinary and cross-site team You are best equipped for this task if you have: A degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, Physics or related field 5 years+ of relevant working experience, ideally in a semiconductor design field, hardware validation or PCB design Knowledge of Altium PCB designer, SPICE simulators (e.g. Simetrix, PSpice, LTSpice etc) is mandatory, while Matlab or ANSIS simulators area plus Hands-on experience with debugging and hardware measurement (e.g. using oscilloscopes, multimeters) Excellent written and spoken English communication skills Contact: Carlos Ribeiro, LinkedIn #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
