Job Title: Senior Structural Design & Stress Engineer Location: Czech Republic FLYTE® is proud to be supporting a pioneering aerospace company based in the Czech Republic , developing a hybrid VTOL (Vertical Takeoff and Landing) aircraft set to revolutionise air mobility across Eastern and Central Europe . Building on the success of their demonstrator aircraft and recent flight testing, the company is now advancing to the second demonstrator . This new aircraft will feature major enhancements in hybrid powertrain technology , full flight mode capability , and a redesigned airframe, including advanced tiltrotors and an optimized tail section for improved aerodynamic efficiency, stability, and overall performance. We are seeking a Senior Structural Design & Stress Engineer to play a key role in the design and development of the next-generation hybrid VTOL demonstrator . You will work from concept to completion, ensuring that the aircraft’s structural integrity and performance meet the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Structural Design & Analysis: Lead the design, analysis, and stress testing of both primary and secondary structures and components, ensuring robustness and durability under various operational conditions. Finite Element Analysis (FEA): Utilize advanced FEA tools to assess and validate the strength and durability of the aircraft’s structures under varying loads and stress conditions. Material Selection & Innovation: Collaborate with materials experts to select the most suitable materials (e.g., composites, titanium alloys, aluminum ) for high-performance aerospace applications. Collaboration Across Disciplines: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design , manufacturing , and testing departments, to ensure structural integrity, seamless integration, and superior performance. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure designs meet regulatory standards and safety requirements set by EASA and other relevant aerospace certification bodies.
