We are looking for a Senior Linux System Engineer/Network Engineer to join our Information Technology department. Qualifications: – A degree in Computer Network Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science or relevant discipline – Strong Linux (Debian, Centos) and Open Source Software ecosystem background (any certifications highly appreciated LFCS, LFCE, RHCSA etc.) – Excellent knowledge of IP networks and cyber security (Fortinet ecosystem,cisco, VPNs, leased lines, intranets, switches, routers) – Extensive experience in networks design, deployment and troubleshooting – Extensive experience in virtualized environments preferably using Open Source solutions (Proxmox, KVM, Docker) – Experience in administration of Authentication/Authorization Systems (e.g FreeIPA, MS Active Directory), LDAP, email (Postfix, Zimbra), monitoring (e.g Nagios, Netdata, Elastic) – Experience in bare metal servers commissioning (Dell, HP) – Experience in High Availability/Disaster Recovery solutions – Good communication skills and excellent problem solving abilities – Very good use of English language, both spoken and written – A positive, can-do attitude, promoting teamwork and delivering results – At least 3 years of proven experience in similar position What you will do: – Maintain and improve the existing corporate IT infrastructure & services – Implement and deploy corporate IT infrastructure & services – Get involved in the design of the company’s IT operations services and procedures – Provide 2nd and 3rd level support to IT support staff Nice to have: – More than 5 years of enterprise IT operations experience – Post graduate degree and professional training certifications – Any level of experience in shipping industry and seagoing vessel IT – IP networking professional certifications – Cyber security certifications – Windows Server administration – Automation (e.g Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform) – VoIP knowledge (FreePBX) – Experience contributing to ISO certification and SOX compliance audits, including preparation, documentation, and process reviews What we offer: – A competitive salary, higher than the IT industry average – Full time employment – Training and certification according to skills and work needs – A friendly, productive and challenging working environment – Be part of a team of experienced IT professionals with considerable contribution to the company’s functions Show more Show less
