ERNI Slovakia Service Delivery Centre (SDC) was established in 2007 in Bratislava. We are highly specialized in IT & software engineering. The purpose of the Service Area Manager role is to successfully lead a Service Delivery Centre in accordance with corporate and service delivery unit guidelines. As a Service Area Manager you will be… • Leading the local delivery organization, including monthly management meetings and weekly follow ups • Reporting performance and all important topics in monthly Service Delivery Unit (SDU) Management Meeting, and in weekly follow ups, directly to the Managing Director SDU & to the related Market Units • Creating the annual budget according to requirements & updating quarterly forecasts • Leading and developing all related Service Unit Leaders and Service Delivery Managers • Ensuring Service Delivery excellence with a team of Service Delivery Managers • Ensuring the people development (personal development plan, curriculum, promotion) • Running the local project portfolio steering • Representing the SDC in the weekly staffing ceremonies • Responsible for proactive capacity and chargeability management • Managing important customer projects personally and advising customers about our services • Supporting Account Managers at winning customers and follow-up business with existing customers • Supporting & Elaborating offers and contract acquisitions • Retaining existing customers in market segment • Generating opportunities and contracts in ERNI domains • Managing strategic initiatives or projects • Supporting all ERNI Market Units with definition of market campaigns relevant to SDC and opportunities identification • Implementing campaigns together with corporate marketing • Representing the company externally in associations and organizations • Securing the interests of all aspects of the organization • Ensuring a favorable image of the companies of the ERNI Group that is beneficial to the development of the company What we are looking for: • 10+ years experience in the Area of Software Engineering • At least 3 years in a Leadership/deputy position of a software engineering delivery organization • Personal experience in leading software projects with 25+ developers • Strong expertise in Solution design, effort estimation and Solution offering • Experience in monitoring/steering of a Project portfolio • Excellent communication skills • Very strong customer orientation Salary min 5 500 EUR/month – depends on skills and experience Come and join ERNI • Opportunity for self-improvement and career growth • Occasional business trips to Switzerland • Flexible working time • 5 weeks of vacation • 3 sick days • Language courses (English, German), fully covered by ERNI • Personal budget • Referral & relocation bonus • Financial contribution for meals • New office (Einpark Bratislava) • Team buildings (grill parties, Christmas dinner, Hack&Hike, ERNI Performance Day –education & leisure event, sport events, company breakfasts, etc.) • Well-established community: Meet-ups, Brown-bag Sessions, Running club, Climbing club, Board games club, etc. Show more Show less
