What You Will Be Doing You will join the Collection Service team that has the responsibility and accountability for all aspects of data collection within EVORA, including maintenance, support, and data fulfillment. Additionally, they are tasked with creating, enhancing, and optimizing the performance of data sources and collection processes. Ensuring a seamless and efficient data collection experience for all customers. The Collection Service team is a cross-functional team with different roles and competences that is gathered for a common purpose and goal. As part of the Collection Service team, you’ll not only develop new data connections and enhance data collection processes but also optimize the performance of data sources. Beyond coding, you’ll contribute to operational tasks, solving challenges that impact our clients data collection. We work within the Scrum framework, balancing sprints focused on bug fixes, improvements, and new automations with essential operational tasks. This means you’ll have opportunities to collaborate on both structured and dynamic, real-time needs, ensuring we stay accountable to our clients’ evolving demands. More concretely, you will… … be working on the backbone of our product – our in-house data collection. … be participating in all parts of the software development lifecycle. … be working with a product manager where you can contribute to the ideation process of the products. … be working and collaborating closely with team members to ensure that we deliver the data our clients are expecting. … be part of an autonomous team with ownership and influence over your work. … be working and developing PHP-based parsers and robots to collect, parse and store energy data into our systems by leveraging and utilizing different tools and languages available such as Selenium, HTML and JSON. … be working with bugs, improvements and new connection (parsers and robots to collect energy data). … be working with team members on support and collection issues. … receive challenging project and get an opportunity to work with real life problems at scale. Experience from web scraping with HTML, JSON, Guzzle, Selenium etc. Expertise in object-oriented PHP. Experience from working on a GNU/Linux workstation with git, containers, shell-scripts, CI/CD pipelines etc. Hands-on experience from interacting with RESTful APIs and implementing API connections. Experience from working in collaboration with a product manager and other stakeholders Fluent verbal and written English communication skills is a requirement.
