The Role As a Software Development Engineer, you’ll be a key part of our development team, working on software that powers our scanners to deliver fast, high-quality results. You’ll get to work on all aspects of the software lifecycle, from design and development to testing and optimization. You’ll have the opportunity to explore a wide variety of topics to enhance scanner performance. What You’ll Be Doing Develop software in C++ (Visual Studio) for Windows and occasionally Linux. Help improve our products with tasks like: Optimizing scanner calibration and improving scanning quality. Maintaining and keeping production software up to date. Enhancing image quality using colour management. Participate in projects that experiment and introduce AI. Contribute to performance improvements using parallel programming and GPU optimizations. Collaborate with software, firmware, hardware, and quality teams across Denmark, the UK, and China to deliver seamless solutions. Who You Are We’re looking for a curious problem-solver who’s eager to build smart, efficient solutions and learn from hands-on experience. You have a proactive and collaborative mindset—you enjoy working in a team and are comfortable sharing ideas and asking questions. Must-Have Qualifications Some experience (or a strong academic background) in C++ development. Some experience (or a strong academic background) working with AI and helping us implement AI where possible. Interest in image processing, algorithms, or software optimization. An eagerness to collaborate, share ideas, and grow with the team. Comfort working with English documentation and communication. Nice-to-Have Qualifications Knowledge of SSE intrinsics, parallel programming, OpenCV, and/or GPU programming. Interest in exploring areas like colour management (ICC profiling, metamerism) and printer support. Remember: You don’t need to check every box—we’re excited to help you develop your skills.
