Join our team as a Sr Accountant (Ireland&UK)! Are you passionate about accounting? Join our team as an Sr Accountant (Ireland&UK) and play a key role. What You’ll Do: Perform US and Local GAAP month-end closing activities: journal bookings, HFM reporting, and month-end schedules. Coordinate with site finance leaders and entity controllers to ensure timely flow of information. Prepare, review, and control accounting journals. Ensure all journal entries comply with internal and external audit specifications. Perform monthly account reconciliations, ensuring sufficient and quality back-ups. Prepare periodic reports as required by local regulations (e.g., statistics and other regulatory reporting). Produce routine reports, schedules, and summaries for management. Support the annual US GAAP, statutory, and SOX audits. Support external auditors and prepare deliverables for local statutory audits. May undertake limited payroll, banking, and treasury operations. May prepare reports for local regulators upon request. Support external advisors on CITR preparation, gather data, and review. Seek opportunities for central testing, automation, and process efficiencies. May establish, modify, document, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures. What You Need: BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field. 2-5 years of experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process. Fluent in English. Motivated self-starter; proactive in identifying issues and recommending resolutions. Flexibility regarding work content, timings, and location. Ability to meet deadlines.
