As a Student Assistant at NKT Photonics A/S you will get hands-on experience with fun and developing tasks that can help you grow your professional profile! We are looking for a Student Assistant to join our Quality Department in our headquarters in Birkerød. The position is part-time, and we expect 15-20 hours per week with flexibility around exams. Be a part of the team supporting the Danish production As a Student Assistant in the Quality Department, you will assist the Quality Manager for the Danish production in quality related tasks and handling of quarantined goods. You will be involved in quality processes, such as Vendor Claims, CAPA’s, KPI reporting, process development etc. You will be handling documentation and carrying out your tasks in D365, our DMS system and quality databases. You will be a part of a global quality team and report to the Quality Manager at the Danish production site. Your primary responsibility will be: Handling quarantined goods, including contact to vendors and return of defect or faulty items Be the link between Danish production units and warehouse, regarding defect items Root cause analysis of errors on goods and processes Develop and report on Supplier performance statistics Assist in CAPA processes Assist in process definition regarding Supplier issues Ad hoc tasks related to the Quality Department Key Interactions Besides your key role in handling quarantined goods towards our global supplier network, you will work closely with the Danish production units and Warehouse, as well as our global purchasing department and product development departments. Other expectations for you You are a second year bachelor or master student, enrolled in a technical- or logistical-related discipline, ideally with a keen interest in technical issues or Supplier Quality Management. You have knowledge or interest in mechanical components or electronics and a desire to learn how stuff works. A great interest and flair for IT (MS Office, ERP systems etc.) You have a systematic and structured approach to your work, as well as a strong attention to details, quality, and deadlines You are a team player but you’re also able to work independently You are open-minded with a positive attitude You speak English on a professional level and can communicate in Danish on a day-to day level.
