These positions within Boiler and Piping Mechanical Engineering and Product Management provide an opportunity to develop professional skills in a global environment. During your summer job period you will get to support our teams in mechanical engineering and product management of pulp & energy technologies and gain valuable experience for your future career. In your summer job you might participate in mechanical design of our products as an engineering team member. Your tasks could include working with 3D designs of our projects and products, writing engineering manuals, managing documents or preparing technical analysis. Some of our jobs expose you to process design and development of calculation tools and measuring templates. You might also assist in managing and coordinating our delivery projects in specific areas of expertise (E.g. construction engineering, plant engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering) by updating project schedules, making and analyzing different reports and participating in product development projects. We have summer jobs for Boiler and Piping Mechanical Engineering and Product Management in Raisio, Tampere, Ulvila and Vantaa. What do we expect from you? We want to support future talents like you in gaining valuable work experience in your field of study. Many of the roles don’t require any prior work experience, so you can trust that we have planned a comprehensive onboarding package to meet your needs! On the other hand, some of the jobs will be a match for a second- or third-year student as deeper understanding on the processes and technologies is needed in these tasks. Whether you study Energy, Environmental, Mechanical, Process or Biotechnology and Chemical Engineering or similar field in a University of Applied Sciences or University, these positions might be suitable for you. We expect you to be fluent in English, Finnish is often an asset. A good knowledge of IT systems and tools commonly used in your field of studies (for example experience of 3D modelling software, PDM software, Power BI, MS Excel or MS project) is an advantage. Your flexibility to handle a variety of work assignments is often needed. In general, these jobs require teamworking skills, ability to communicate clearly and developed problem-solving skills.
