Are you interested in working in challenging and versatile Summer Trainee tasks in Business Development? As an integral part of our C o rporate Business intelligence team summer trainee you will have a unique opportunity to monitor, analyze and communicate fact-based intelligence of Valmet’s business environment including markets, competitors, customers and industry regulation. In this position you will work in close cooperation with the professionals in the corporate strategy and M&A team and in matrix with the wider global business intelligence network. As Business development summer trainee , you will have the opportunity to conduct data analyses and develop reporting and analytics for pricing, availability, and offering management or support in our ERP program development. You might also create dashboards, structure, and standardize performance follow-up for our project managers. You have a chance to work with agreement delivery cases as well as develop tools and reporting templates enabling them better usability for data-driven decision-making. In these roles, experience in handling large data sets and using PowerBI and PowerApps are seen as advantage. As Business development summer trainee in our product management teams , you’ll work closely with product managers on technical development projects, collaborate with production and design teams, and gain hands-on experience with MS Office and ATON software. We have summer jobs available in our locations in Espoo, Vantaa, Jyväskylä, Lappeenranta, Tampere and Raisio. What do we expect from you? You are passionate about learning new skills. Your flexibility to do a variety of work assignments is often needed and you can work independently. We expect you to have good English skills and a good knowledge of IT programs (Ms office, especially Excel, PowerBI) and other applications commonly used in your field of studies.
