Region NCE > SBU NCE Service > Travel Team-Onshore East Vestas Northern and Central Europe is a sales business unit covering, NORTH-WEST (Scandinavia, UK, Ireland) CENTRAL (Germany and Benelux), and EAST(Poland and Baltics countries, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Ukraine, Georgia, and Kazakhstan). Our responsibilities include Sales, Project, Installation, and Service of wind farms in these regions. We are looking for the Travel Team Supervisor to ensure performance and guide the crews of Travel Technicians (who are traveling 100% of the time to various sites in the NCE region), in compliance with Vesta’s safety standards and processes. As a Supervisor, you need to ensure your team is qualified and possesses relevant and valid certifications and training so that the knowledge can be used on-site in the most effective way. As a Supervisor, you need to also understand the issues of your team, but you will be also appointed to work with the NCE Regions/Sub-Region. Responsibilities Remote Team Leadership, efficiently guides and supervises a remote team of 50 employees, including Lead Technicians and Service Technicians Responsibility for recruitment, hiring, and team-building capacity Delivery of services on an operational level to process adherence, service quality, safety standards, and performance ensured People skills development and training actions, including those related to safety. Motivating employees, and ensuring a healthy work-life balance Compliance with Vesta’s standards across the dedicated sites, processes, and procedures. Ensuring obeying regional laws and regulations Convert department knowledge into specific actions, optimization of domain knowledge based on lessons learned Continuous improvement of efficiency, and quality. Be a role model for other employees, organizations Qualifications Experience in a similar role with the ability to develop teams and organizational results – will be beneficial Experience in directing a team and managing remote tasks Proficiency in English, both written and verbally Professional knowledge of Microsoft, SAP and Salesforce Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture field – 3 years experience in building construction will be an asset Driving license – B category Competencies Problem-solving, conflict resolution Ability to guide and motivate the team A safety-first mindset, Quality Focus and Compliance Good communication skills and a service-oriented mindset Empowerment, oriented towards improvement, team-oriented, people coaching, interpersonal skills Analytical and detailed working approach Good facilitation and presentation skills on the Management level What We Offer We offer a stable job, an innovative learning environment, and opportunities for career development at a well-known wind turbine manufacturer.
