Our new colleague will develop supplier on time delivery (OTD) performance, reduce supplier lead-time and manage business transfers in a cross-functional, multilocation environment across Europe. This position provides possibility to work with the biggest suppliers in the industry globally, hot spot for professional growth, high autonomy. What will your job look like? Lead supply chain process improvement – internal and external – projects. Work with Materials, Operations and Suppliers to ensure adequate capacity to support production requirements. Perform process audits and FMEAs at the suppliers. Facilitates the ongoing Supplier Business Reviews (SBR). Provide support to resolve supply chain issues. Assist in the development of commodity strategies for assigned commodities. Execute production transfer projects among suppliers, based on predefined agreements. Communicate technical specifications to the suppliers via design documents, manufacturing and quality standards, parts, change notices, engineering change notices etc. Supports product design /redesign, complexity reduction projects to new and existing product via knowledge of supply base capability. This position will require both domestic and international travel mostly within Europe (25% of total time). Who are we looking for? 4-year Engineering Degree or equivalent required. Work experience in industrial production environment (automotive, EMS โ€ฆ). 5 years of experience in supplier development/ manufacturing processes/ quality development is required. Understanding of lean manufacturing, process improvement, problem solving, and project management principles are required. Inventory management and planning systems (MRP, ERP) skills will be an advantage. Fluent / high level English. Good communicator. Driving license.
