ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a dynamically growing company that provides services in the fields of Asset Management and Hospitality, is looking for a Technical Buyer Location: Athens ️You will be reporting to: Project Manager (PM) Responsibilities: Coordinate procurement schedules with the Project Manager to ensure alignment with construction timelines. Develop technical specifications and manage bids for construction, renovation, and capital improvement projects. Manage RFPO entries in ERP, ensuring smooth procurement with accurate specifications and vendor information. Understand procurement lead times for items, including shop drawings and approvals. Lead pre-bid conferences with the Construction Team to ensure comprehensive requirements. Handle procurement activities, including supplier negotiations, contract preparation, and tender management. Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of contracts, including design and construction contracts. Act as a liaison between the Project Construction Team and Procurement Department to address any evolving needs. Use project data to optimize procurement procedures, adjust deadlines, and mitigate risks through effective policies Requirements What we are looking for: Batchelor or Technical degree / Master in a related Field At least 8 years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement of Real Estate and Facilities services or similar background. Possess exceptional knowledge of core procurement fundamentals, construction industry and materials. Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Procurement Suites, ERP Experienced in redlining and negotiating contracts with key contract terms. Familiarity with legal relevant concepts Excellent knowledge of Greek and English Soft Skills Excellent communication and business skills Superior negotiation skills. Analytical thinking skills. A great teammate and able to work independently while prioritizing own time and work.
