Job description: We are looking for a Remote sensing Technical Solution manager to join our Flagship Business Unit at Vaisala headquarters in Vantaa, Finland. You will be part of our Technical Solution Managers team for the flagship business unit. Together with the team, you will have an excellent opportunity to work in close collaboration with our sales and technical experts. Your main responsibility is to provide specialized technical sales support and ensure solutions for customers’ technical requirements utilizing Vaisala´s existing product and services portfolio. Supporting presales marketing and preparation of commercial offers. You will also work closely with research, product development, and project and service teams to ensure technical alignment with customer needs. Given the nature of the projects the team works with, strong experience in planning and leading integration projects, including subcontractor negotiation and a solid understanding of civil engineering, is essential. The position requires traveling for 20-40 days per year. You will report to the Head of Business Portfolio. What will you bring? Strong technical expertise, particularly in planning complex integration projects. Experience with Weather and or airport environment related installation projects is considered as an advantage. Excellent communication skills, including engaging with experts, presenting to diverse audiences, and understanding customer needs. Ability to create comprehensive technical solutions to solve customer’s needs. Representing the voice of the customer and collaborating with product management, making sure information regarding customer needs is shared so that it can be used in planning product development roadmaps Proficient in gathering information, performing thorough analyses, and effectively communicating insights, while demonstrating strong project management skills such as planning and organizing project execution. Academic degree in a relevant field. Written and spoken English, additional languages are seen as a plus.
