Inviting applications for the role of Trade Accounting – Senior Process Associate -German-Remote RO* We are looking for someone with diversified financial experience, including forecasting, planning & accounting In this role, you will be expected to work on strict deadlines, in a fairly high-pressure business environment while being a good team player. SAP knowledge and experience in generating reports from SAP would be an added advantage. Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for all the activities related to Trade accounting. Governance & Controls Validate customer data/contracts in the TPM tool and collaborate with Sales to make sure all processes are delivered on-time (invoice approval, promotional deals approval) and recorded accurately in the system. Adapt processed independently based on development/maturity of the Units Trade Fund Management System. Ensure that the trade budgets are managed accurately and at the appropriate level of detail in the system and support SDL to ensure spending is in line with guidelines via regular (quarterly) budget reviews with the Sales Team (incl Sales Leadership). Partner with local Business Partners and Sales on local quarterly Trade Term review via Digital Dealsheet tool (PowerBI dashboard). Backup required CAS finance approvals. Support the Units Sales Leadership and Regional Controllership Team for Internal and External Audits on Trade Fund Management. Period-Close Deliver period-end closing in TPM tool, from GSV to NSV, incl Accrual Management and communication to stakeholders in the unit and MGS-F. Ensure adherence to all corporate policies and guidelines pertaining to internal controls with the respect to the trade budget in collaboration with the Regional Controllership Team. Planning and Analysis Support the units Sales Finance Business Partners in Trade Budget generation and allocation Support the volume to value planning for the unit. Context And Scope The Jobholder needs to work independently and across functions. Key stakeholders are i) the local Finance Team, ii) Sales/SDL team and iii) MGS-F and the Regional Controllership Team. Job Specifications/Qualifications Education & Professional Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in finance/Economics/Business Administration Knowledge / Experience Diversified financial management experience, including forecasting, planning & accounting Demonstrated analytical capabilities Full working proficiency in English Ability to work autonomously Advanced Excel, basic SAP & Analysis for Excel (former BW) Strong knowledge of accounting systems What can we offer?
