A Day in Your Life at MKS: We are looking for an exceptional and dedicated Transfer Engineer to work collaboratively within a cross functional team environment into developing processes, fixtures, and other electro-mechanical automated equipment in support of continuing improvement and new product introduction activities for our existing high-volume capacitance manometer product lines and technologically advanced new products in development. The ideal candidate you will work collaboratively as part of a cross functional team to reduce costs, improve yields & increase capacity through LEAN implementation activities, and support quality enhancements for our semiconductor and advanced market customers. You Will Make an Impact By: Set up and automate Manufacturing processes for existing and new product introductions Collaborate with cross functional groups in Resolving technical, material, and quality related issues as part of a team Create, update and maintain manufacturing process instructions Establish & monitor process controls (including SPC) and Poke Yoke (mistake proof) processes techniques as part of continuous improvement activities Train and certify assembly operators on manufacturing processes Actively working on transfer products from different MKS sites, working in a partnership with our colleagues globally Skills You Bring: BS/MS in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronic engineering 5+ years of experience in a mixed production environment Knowledge of and experience with structured problem-solving tools and techniques Knowledge of and experience with SPC and process control implementation Knowledge of and experience with Lean manufacturing; including refining manufacturing methods, processes, and tools to streamline new and existing products using Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen techniques Working experience with MS Windows and Office applications 20% travel to different MKS sites as part of the transfer projects.
