LIEWOOD is seeking a talented WEAR Designer to join our Design Team. You have Exceptional taste, combined with a commercially oriented mindset and a detailed understanding of color, materials, and category dynamics A strong sense of accountability, ensuring all aspects of your work meet LIEWOOD’s high standards A natural ability to think across the entire product lifecycle—from design and materials to packaging, in-store presentation, master data, and product copy A strong ability to structure processes, prioritize effectively, and manage complex workflows across multiple projects The ability to analyze performance metrics, applying insights to guide product development and strengthen the overall category offering A commitment to sustainability, prioritizing responsible materials and practices in all designs stage Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Creative Explo ration: Conduct in-depth research, create mood boards, and source new materials and trims to innovate within LIEWOOD’s design DNA End-to-End Product Devel opment: Managing products from concept creation through prototype stages to final production. Deliver two annual collections, as basic range and potential capsules, ensuring timely execution of all steps Category Mana gement: Develop a holistic understanding of the WEAR category, maintaining an overview of its structure, product mix, and performance while identifying opportunities to innovate and strengthen the offering Collection Co hesion: Maintain a cohesive aesthetic across the collection, ensuring balance and structure within the category while meeting commercial objectives Technical Exce llence: Prepare flat sketches, detailed tech packs, and sample comments to guide suppliers and ensure the highest quality output. Collaborate closely with the buying team to source fabrications and trims Process Mana gement: Utilize PLM, to oversee collection development and ensure adherence to critical deadlines in the design calendar Team Collabo ration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including buying, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment on goals and expectations throughout the product life cycle Does this sound like you? You are: Structured and An alytical: Skilled at managing processes and leveraging data to make informed decisions that enhance collection performance Creative and Busines s-Minded: A blend of creativity and commercial awareness, with a focus on balancing innovative designs with market needs Detail-Oriented and Solution -Focused: Dedicated to quality, precision, and finding solutions in a fast-paced environment Insightful and Tre nd-Savvy: In tune with current trends and capable of applying them strategically to align with LIEWOOD´s DNA Independent yet Colla borative: Self-motivated with the ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team Qualifications: Relevant design education Minimum 5 years of experience in fashion or kids’ product design, across categories like outerwear, apparel, swimwear and preferably knowledge within footwear and accessories Deep technical knowledge of fabrics, constructions, and patternmaking Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), PowerPoint and Excel. Experience with PLM systems (Yunique or similar). You will be working from the LIEWOOD head office in Copenhagen and report to the He ad of Design.
