The Webinar SME plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless execution of webinars, with a focus on leveraging the webinar platforms and SAP MarTech stack for success. This role requires expertise in webinar production, including event setup, registration page design, console customization, speaker training, and the development and sharing of best practices. A strong understanding of webinar platforms and their functionalities is essential, as is the ability to troubleshoot issues, test new features, and optimize webinar performance. The SME will also lead enablement efforts, collaborate in integration projects, and empower platform users across the organization. THE ROLE Oversee the full webinar production process, including event setup, registration page creation, console configuration and reporting on the webinar platform. Act as the main point of contact for webinar owners, internal teams, and event team to align on webinar objectives and delivery. Develop and share best practices for webinar execution, audience engagement, and console customization. Provide regular enablement sessions for webinar builders across the organization to enhance their skills and knowledge of webinar platform. Test new platforms, platform features and functionalities, assessing their value for current workflows and adoption within the organization. Work intensively with the webinar platform vendor to address platform updates, resolve issues, and influence product improvements. Work closely with MAPS and IT teams on data integration efforts to ensure seamless workflows between webinar platforms and SAP marketing stack. Track and analyze webinar performance metrics, including registration, attendance, engagement, and post-event feedback. Provide actionable insights to improve future webinars and achieve marketing goals. Role Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or 5+ years of relevant professional experience. Proven track record of 2+ years of experience in managing webinar processes within a digital marketing team, with hands-on involvement in webinar execution and optimization. Detailed knowledge of ON24 Products, specifically Webcast Elite, including advanced setup, troubleshooting, feature testing, and optimization. Knowledge and ability to apply SAP Brand guidelines across webinars, templates, and related communications. Interest in graphics and design, with the ability to suggest and implement design changes in templates to enhance visual quality and user experience. Strong communicator and presenter, capable of delivering effective training to large audiences. Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint, to document projects, track their status, and provide clear and structured updates to stakeholders. A problem-solving attitude, action-oriented, results-focused, and metrics-driven. Ability to work effectively across teams and geographies, with occasional schedule adjustments to collaborate with global colleagues.
