We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at a dog shelter. If you love animals and want to contribute to their care and well-being, we invite you to apply! Responsibilities: Ensuring the daily care of the dogs in the shelter (feeding, cleaning, administering medical treatments); Monitoring the health of the animals and reporting any problems; Support in medical activities, such as vaccinations, sterilizations, deworming and other necessary procedures; Assistance in managing veterinary documentation and updating animal medical records; Collaboration with the veterinarian in the development and implementation of treatment plans; Providing support and advice to adopters regarding care of adopted animals. Requirements: Veterinary technician studies or relevant experience in the veterinary field; Previous experience working with animals (preferably in shelters, veterinary clinics); Organizational skills, empathy and attention to detail; Ability to work in a team and manage tasks daily in a dynamic environment; Positive attitude and the desire to contribute to the welfare of homeless animals.
