Wavemaker Hospitality, the leading hotel company in Cyprus and Greece, is expanding its operations. We are looking for experienced and talented individuals as Cooks to join the award-winning 5* Atlantica Beach Resort in
Kos island
for the season 2025.
Responsibilities
Follow and execute pastry recipes accurately,
Work on the presentation of pastries, paying attention to the visual appeal of the final product.
Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Pastry Chef to create and update dessert menus, taking into consideration seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Ensure the pastry section adheres to all safety and health regulations
Identify staffing needs, and train new pastry assistants and bakers when necessary
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position
Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, or relevant field
Strong sense of culinary creativity with attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles and food preparation standards
Familiarity with a range of baking and other kitchen equipment
Excellent communication skills and an enthusiasm for teamwork
