Job Description
Are you motivated by creating the framework for an efficient, green and coherent energy system, where data contributes to supporting a smarter and more flexible energy system? The Danish Energy Agency's Supply digitization team is looking for a professional beacon with deep insight into the data flows in the energy system. We are looking for a new colleague who can rightly call himself an expert in smart energy systems and supply data. We would like you to have in-depth knowledge of how data and digitization can link the individual parts of the energy system together. In addition, we would like you to have knowledge of meters, IT architecture and price signals in particular on the electricity market. In return, we offer an exciting position where you will have a decisive role in developing the digital foundation for an efficient, safe, flexible and green energy system. Welcome to the Danish Energy Agency The position is located in the Unit for Energy Efficiency and Data in the Danish Energy Agency, where you will be part of the Supply Digitization Program team. The team consists of 8 employees, who on a daily basis have close cooperation with colleagues in the rest of the agency, the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Supply's department as well as a large number of external actors in and around the supply sector. The team runs the Supply Digitization Programme, which is an initiative in the government's digitization strategy. With the programme, a private-public partnership has been established with actors from utility companies, private companies, public authorities and research institutions. You come with solid knowledge of the supply sector and can convey technically complex topics in an easy-to-understand language, both orally and in writing. And you are passionate about ensuring that the potential of better exploitation and use of data is released. It is also an advantage if you have knowledge of the regulation and composition of the electricity market. The broad actor involvement of the supply sector and users of supply data is a central element in the Supply Digitization Programme, and it is therefore central that you thrive with a large collaboration surface. You must also be comfortable with the fact that you have a great deal of influence on the composition of your assignments. There may be several entrances to the job, and your specific educational background is therefore less relevant. We are a team with high spirits, where we focus on playing each other better and on getting through the challenges we face together.
