About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join a large-scale solar energy project for our client in the renewable energy sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems for solar installations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and optimal performance. The role requires a professional who can support the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems for large-scale solar projects, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and oversee electrical systems for solar energy projects.
Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments for new installations.
Ensure compliance with local and international electrical codes and safety regulations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize system performance and integration.
Perform system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Work with grid connection requirements and power distribution systems.
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and specifications.
Stay updated on the latest industry trends and innovations in solar energy.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in electrical engineering within the renewable energy, specifically solar sector.
Strong knowledge of electrical design software
Familiarity with grid integration, energy storage, and power distribution.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to travel for site visits and inspections.
Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
