We are looking for an experienced project manager who wants to be at the helm of both new construction and complex renovation projects with great social significance. You will be part of a professional and dedicated client organisation, where you will have responsibility, freedom and strong professional support. We work closely internally with the region's hospitals and institutions, and externally with advisers and contractors to ensure that our construction both works in practice and makes a positive difference in everyday life for patients, staff and relatives. Your primary tasks Lead your own construction projects from idea to commissioning - with a focus on progress, quality, finances and schedule. Act as client's representative and link between users, advisors and contractors. Carry out client consultation and ensure that the construction supports functional, sustainable and user-friendly solutions. Work structured and proactively in close dialogue with colleagues, users and other stakeholders. Help set the direction for how we work with construction in a political and socially relevant context. Who are you? You have a relevant professional background such as an engineer, designer or architect - and several years of experience in project management and/or the role of client. You thrive on complexity, have an eye for both detail and the whole, and can act confidently in a world where buildability, logistics, workflows, safety and the working environment must play together. About Construction and Property Construction and Property is one of four offices in the Group Finance department, which handles the financial function of the Central Jutland Region, including the management of the region's properties. The office's tasks range from strategic planning, to serving the political organization, supporting the operating organizations, drawing up regional standards, to handling the region's larger and more complicated client tasks. We are approx. 40 committed and skilled employees in the office, and a total of approx. 130 in the department, which forms the framework for a broad professional community, where there is an opportunity for sparring and knowledge sharing, and for development and learning. We work closely and trustingly with the region's hospitals, Psychiatry, the social institutions, the region's medical centers and health centers as well as other public authorities, private suppliers, contractors and advisers. Group finance is located in Regionshuset Viborg, but Construction and Property has a number of geographically anchored teams locally at the region's hospitals. This position has a permanent workplace at Hedeager 3, 8200 Aarhus N. Salary and terms of employment The position is a permanent full-time position (37 hours/week) with the desired start per 1 June 2025 – or preferably before.
