Job Description

Do you want to contribute to new technology and artificial intelligence also working in Danish? With a number of new tasks and a generally increasing interest in generative artificial intelligence in Danish, the Digitalization Agency's office for technology and data has become busy, and you therefore have the opportunity to become an agent to support the effort to develop and exhibit language technology resources for use in the development of artificial intelligence. Office for Technology and Data (KTD) You will become part of an office with approx. 30 colleagues, which consist of employees in all age groups and with many different educational backgrounds, and our work is based on good cooperation and collegiality. The office's main tasks are particularly focused on data, technology and digital architecture and include e.g. to: ensure a good foundation for the development of artificial intelligence through the display of Danish language resources and support for its use, as well as a number of other measures related to artificial intelligence develop standardized display of public data and thereby ensure increased use of public data develop strategic measures to promote common semantic standards, architecture etc. develop and disseminate joint public architecture standards and principles influence and implement current and future plans from the EU Commission, including the Data Regulation, the Interoperability Regulation etc. support the agency's transition to a more agile culture and organization. As part of a politically controlled organisation, the office must also be able to contribute to the political direction, for example through political interventions and background analyses. However, a large part of our work consists of ensuring that the adopted policy is implemented in practice. Your tasks With the government's strategic efforts for artificial intelligence, we have just started a major initiative that will make available open Danish text data from the National Archives, the Kgl. Library and Parliament. In parallel, we collaborate with both public actors, private organizations and research institutions to develop new Danish language resources, e.g. a central word register and a transcribed Danish speech corpus. The resources are exhibited on the joint public platform, sprogteknologi.dk, for free use by all actors who work with artificial intelligence. In addition, KTD has a dissemination strategy which brings together the language technology environment and spreads knowledge about the area, i.a. through workshops, go-home meetings and an annual conference. As a new colleague in the team, one of your main tasks will be to carry out and manage concrete efforts that will result in the exhibition of new language resources in various domain areas. This means that you, among other things, expected to have to: support external stakeholder management within the area of ​​Danish language technology and artificial intelligence prepare notes, orientations and decision presentations for the project's steering group, the agency's executive board and department. contribute to analysis and coordination tasks, including planning meetings and managing smaller procurement processes facilitate workshops with experts, as well as contribute to the running of conferences and network meetings contribute to the preparation of communication material for news articles and SoMe postings support data cataloging by maintaining and developing an overview of language technology resources. About you Does the above sound exciting to you? We would like you to have a relevant higher education, e.g. cand.scient.pol, cand.scient.polit, cand.it, cand.merc, or similar. It is an advantage if you have experience from a politically controlled organization and/or work with digitization and new technology, but we also appreciate experiences from completely different contexts that can give us new perspectives on the tasks.
