Do you have a handle on the green dishes? Can you make vegetables taste so the birds sing? Do you love experimenting with new ways of working with vegetables? Can you make any meat eater forget about meat?
Then you are the one we are looking for for our staff restaurant at Novo Nordisk in Kalundborg.

In the kitchen, we are 4 food-loving, positive and creative colleagues. As a small canteen, we stand together for all the tasks in everyday life. We maintain the high level of service together, we help each other and have a good team spirit. We are not too nice to lend a hand in the dishes or look the guest in the eye. We have a good tone and a good mood. We love to cook good food and look forward every day to giving our 240 diners a good experience.
You are passionate about both food and service
You are innovative and have a journeyman's certificate, you are passionate about cooking from scratch with good, fresh ingredients - local and in season. You don't always have to have meat to be able to cook good food and that sustainability and ecology are the way forward. You look forward to pleasing the same guests with variety, new tastes, inspiration and healthy food – every day! With the same guests every day, it requires a new and exciting menu every day.

You have experience as a skilled worker - preferably from other canteens or the hotel/restaurant industry

You have extensive experience in handling the season's fresh ingredients
You are creative both in terms of preparation and presentation
You are able to keep a good overview of the day and the week's tasks
You have an understanding of keeping structure and order
You bring a good mood, independence, and you dare to take responsibility - and you are good at motivating and inspiring your colleagues

We offer
We offer a permanent position with good colleagues, time for family and a good and safe working environment.
Our salary package is composed as follows:

good basic salary, which is adjusted annually, plus allowances for overtime and working at odd times
7% discretionary savings, paid out twice a year (see it as extra salary, use it to finance extra free time with family, or transfer it to the pension.
12% pension, 8% employer contribution and 4% employee contribution
company-paid health scheme, with the option of treatment at e.g. chiropractor, physiotherapist or advice to the healthcare system and crisis psychologist help

Your working hours are 30 hours per week and meeting times are Monday to Thursday at 0630 - 1430 and have Friday off.
