Job Description

A nurse (temporary maternity leave) is wanted for the Overmarksgården care home.
37 hours per week on weekdays with meeting times [phone removed] Monday to Thursday and Friday [phone removed].

Our skilled general nurse is in the happy situation of having to go on maternity leave.

Who we are:
Forsorgshjemmet Overmarksgården is a 24-hour social center for vulnerable citizens according to §110 of the Service Act.
Overmarksgården's task is to offer 24-hour accommodation and support for socially vulnerable citizens with substance abuse problems and/or severe social/psychiatric issues. The citizens who visit Overmarksgården are homeless, at risk of housing or unable to manage in their own home.
Overmarksgården has 44 overnight places and 4 hostel places. The staff is made up of many professional groups, where everyone's skills come into play. We are approx. 40 employees spread over 6 departments.
 
 
 
Your tasks will include:

Develop procedure for handling doctor-prescribed medicines in accordance with current legislation.
Training of hourly replacements and new colleagues in medicine handling.
Initiate health promotion initiatives.
Actively participate in discussions of residents with the health professional angle.
Develop and strengthen cooperation with external partners, e.g. the regional psychiatry, Kolding substance abuse centre, general practitioners etc.
Hold health talks with the residents who want this.
Support and guide residents in getting relevant health examinations.
Daily delivery of medication to residents as well as handling healthcare issues with residents
Keep up-to-date in relation to research in the area of socially disadvantaged people

 
 
We expect you to:

Is a trained nurse. We would like you to have experience in psychiatry and/or substance abuse, but this is not essential if you are the right person for us.
Wants to work in close contact with the residents.
Has a holistic view and is good at entering into a dialogue with the healthcare perspective in an everyday environment where there is close interdisciplinary collaboration with social work and healthcare colleagues.
As a nurse with us, you want to work in a municipal context, where we have a high level of professionalism and work based on the municipality's vision and the strategy "Self-esteem and cohesion", which puts the citizen at the center. Self-esteem and coherence in everything we say and do
