Digger assistant

We are looking for a gravedigger assistant for Søften and Foldby churches, Favrskov Provsti, Aarhus Dift. Our current Cemetery employee has chosen to retire after almost 10 years of employment.
We are looking for an assistant digger who can work stably and independently, but who is also willing to work closely with our digging team and the other staff at the churches.
The position is for 1380 hours per year (excluding holidays), corresponding to an average weekly working time of approx. 30 hours. The hours are not distributed evenly throughout the year - full-time work must be expected for several periods throughout the year. A lot of work is done with the green conversion at our cemeteries, so we find sustainable solutions with e.g. own flowers from the cutting garden to decorate the churches.
Accession 1 June 2025.
The tasks are:
·       Gardening tasks (at both cemeteries, but mainly in Foldby)
·       Church service at the churches in Foldby and Søften with approx. 50% of the services – equivalent to
every other weekend, however with great flexibility by agreement with leading diggers.
·       Cleaning in the parish house in Foldby
·       Snow removal and salting at our addresses in Søften and Foldby.
We expect our new digging assistant to:
·       Is approachable, presentable and outgoing.
·       Has an interest in the work of the folk church, including the church's diaconal work.
·       Has skills and interest in meeting the people who use the cemeteries.
·       Has an interest in the green area and can work outside in all kinds of weather.
·       Can work independently, but has the ability and desire to participate in the solution of joint tasks.
Employment is with a monthly salary and according to the terms of employment laid down in the Agreement for grave assistants in village cemeteries entered into between the Ministry of Church Affairs and 3F.
