ENGINEER FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF CAST IRON SOLUTIONS
Can you professionally collaborate with some of the major players within, among other things, the automotive industry, where there is a high focus on safety, quality and delivery precision?

THE POSITION
With reference to the company's RFQ Manager (Request For Quotation), we are looking for a PTA engineer who can and will take responsibility for developing customer-specified cast iron solutions.
Your contact both internally and externally will be broad, and together with the customer your primary task will be to support and support in the foundry technical area, so that the castings can be produced efficiently, in terms of quality and not least at a competitive level at our DISA production facility.
In close cooperation with our Account Managers and technicians, you will have an active role in the subject selection for our DISA production facility. In addition, there is a close collaboration with our Business Controlling department, where you must ensure the preparation of the technical layout as a basis for new products and for major product revisions.
You also work closely technically with relevant sub-suppliers, to ensure that any laid out items are manufactured in accordance with the customer's requirements specification.

As a "One Stop Shop supplier" that offers casting, processing and surface treatment in one and integrated process, we are exclusively order producers of highly refined cast iron solutions for e.g. the trucking industry.
The group employs approx. 700 employees, of which approx. 475 in Holstebro. The majority of the production is sold internationally.

WORK TASKS & AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Your tasks will mainly, but not in priority order, be to:

Participate in feasibility assessments and selection of items for production.
Develop cast iron solutions in collaboration with the customer.
Participate in FMEA work.
Participate in cross-organizational teams in any complaints and quality matters.
Participate in the work around the implementation of new technological solutions that can optimize our production and continuously keep us competitive.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

You are a trained engineer within the manufacturing industry and want to work with the development of cast iron solutions.
You would have liked to work with vertical DISA casting and core production.
You would like to have experience using MAGMA software.
You have broad experience with the use of CAD software, where we use CATIA.
It will be an added plus if you have a good knowledge of the automotive industry's quality standard IATF 16949, including mastery of APQP, PPAP, FMEA etc.
You also have a good understanding of IT and can work effortlessly in ERP systems.

You are a good team player with a curious and inquisitive attitude in your task solving. Your approach to tasks is service-oriented and structured, and your drive makes it completely natural for you to take responsibility and not least meet deadlines.
You feel ready to take on greater responsibility, where you not only execute yourself, but are also the inspirer in your team when responsibility must be taken and tasks solved.
As a person, you are outgoing and robust, and you thrive on complex issues in an environment with short and sharp deadlines.
Linguistically, you are fluent in English and preferably German.
