Manchet Are you an engineer and would you like to influence the transition to the future military airworthiness concept and at the same time bring your skills and experience with design work on aircraft into play? Then here is a unique opportunity to be involved in building up the Armed Forces' Military Design Organisation. About us The Ministry of Defence's Material and Procurement Agency is professionally responsible for all Danish military initial and continued (design) airworthiness. Capacity manager Air systems is one of our three areas of capacity responsibility Land, Maritime and Air. Capability responsible Air systems is the professional center for the Armed Forces' aircraft systems and communication systems both internally and externally. Including initial and continuing airworthiness for unmanned aerial vehicles. As an engineer in the Military Design Organization in FMI, you will be part of a team of six colleagues consisting of engineers, aircraft technical specialists and military employees. About the position We need to employ an engineer with an aeronautical background who has an interest in the military technology field as well as an interest and ability to familiarize himself with new areas at short notice. Globally, there is a harmonization of the military approach to airworthiness, moving towards the adoption of civilian concepts. The Swedish Armed Forces have therefore decided to adopt EMAR, which is based on EASA principles for initial and continued airworthiness. The Military Design Organization has therefore been certified cf. EMAR-21J, and we are now in the process of adopting the defense's aircraft types to the EMAR 21 standard. Your task will include support for initiating design changes and subsequently ensuring that certification requirements are met. Other tasks will be to develop the professional communities across the Armed Forces' aircraft types to ensure that the design organization has a necessary number of competent "Design Engineers" and "Compliance Verification Engineers". Last but not least, you will have to contribute to the continued preparation of the Military Design Organization's procedures and the continuous updating of the report. Your day-to-day life will entail broad daily contact with engineers and specialists on all of the Armed Forces' aircraft types and with "Flight Test Engineers". You will get in touch with the design organizations that we collaborate with. You will also have to participate in the coordination of the section's other tasks, which include quality management and risk management (Safety Management / Aviation Safety). You will receive the necessary further training in EMAR 21 and in the "Airworthiness Requirements / Certification Specifications" or equivalent military requirements that support the defense's aircraft types. About you To be considered for the position, you must be a qualified engineer or have an equivalent technical education at academic level. It will be an advantage if you have practical experience from a Danish or international design organization or production organization, and it will be an advantage if you have practical experience from an EASA organisation, an aviation authority or similar. It will also be an advantage if you have an educational background as a test engineer from a recognized test pilot school, or that you are trained in mechanical engineering or "Systems Safety". You must have good human qualities and communication skills and be able to express yourself in writing and in speech in Danish. You also speak English at a high technical level, both orally and in writing. You have good IT skills and quickly learn new systems. Experience with SAP/R3 is desirable. As a person, you are results-oriented and know how to create value for the customer. You are a proactive and positively committed team player who, with flexibility and openness, solves tasks independently both in a team and with others.
