Job Description
School in constant motion is looking for a visionary deputy headteacher as our current one is retiring. Lemtorpskolen - located at the eastern end of Lemvig town is a general superstructure school with approx. 300 students. There are 50 employees in total at the school and the management team consists of the headteacher, deputy headteacher and after-school/school induction manager. There will be managerial tasks such as pedagogical management, cooperation with external parties and meeting proceedings. It will also be you who, together with the school's other management team, draw the school's strategic and pedagogical line. You will be given practical and administrative tasks such as scheduling, duty hours and trial processing. For the position, there will also be a number of teaching lessons. You ideally have experience with management or experience in leading others in another way, e.g. as a supervisor. You are qualified as a teacher and have or would like a management training course. You stand firmly in yourself and are a stable and calm person. It doesn't matter if you have a sense of humor and can also laugh at yourself. You are strong communicative and relational. You must be a clear, visible and unifying leader for our employees. You have an overview and meet the tasks with a clear structure. We know that management sometimes requires hard work and persistence, so you can certainly drive far on the litre. You are outgoing, visible and welcoming and have your finger on the pulse. Lemtorp School is involved in the KL project "A school that can do more for more" where our focus in the next period is directed towards the culture of cooperation and collective intelligence. Our core task formulation "To maximize the child's opportunity for learning and development" binds us together and keeps us firmly on task. We offer: A job at a school that performs well in well-being measures, employee satisfaction, parent satisfaction measures and grades. The school was completely renovated in 2021 and the premises are top-tuned for teaching in 2025. You will become part of a management team that: Prioritises close collaboration, sees disagreement as a strength, spars with each other, distributes tasks according to strengths and interests and sets aside time for development. The application deadline is 24 April 2025 and we expect to hold interviews on 30 April 2025. If you have any questions about the position, you can contact head teacher Hanne Odgaard on [phone removed] or at [email protected] Applications with relevant attachments must be sent electronically via Lemvig Municipality's website no later than 24 April 2025.
