Consultant to Roskilde radiology department with subspecialty in thoracic radiology and oncoradiology.

We are looking for senior doctors who are subspecialized in thoracic radiology or oncoradiology and who want to collaborate with a young enthusiastic team of specialists. The current teams are not large, and everyone in the department helps out, but sometimes lacks a little more experienced people to ask.
We would like to have the individual teams better consolidated in the department, with permanent senior doctors attached to the teams, with responsibility for prioritization, examination and descriptions as well as training of younger radiologists and training applicants. In thoracic radiology, we have a good collaboration with the lung mediciners and 2 weekly MDT and every other week ils conference. At the moment we have no conferences with oncologists, but we would like to get that up and running again in the long term, so that our cooperation could become better and closer with the oncologists.
Both the pulmonary medicine and the oncology departments in the region are located in Næstved and Roskilde, respectively. We therefore have many studies from both departments.
In addition to oncoradiology and thoracic radiology, we have subspecialties in uroradiology and neuroradiology in Roskilde. We also support gynaecology, paediatrics and cardiac radiology etc.

Our RIS/PACS is shared with Køge and will become shared for the entire region within a year
Since January 2022, the diagnostic imaging department consists of 6 units located around Region Zealand. You will be employed in Roskilde, but there will be close cooperation with the other units.
In Roskilde, we have around 100 employees. We have 4 MR scanners, 3 CT scanners, 2 UL and 5 conventional rooms.
